It seems ages since I’ve blogged and I want to apologise, I need to get back into the swing of things, I took some time off for me to gather my thoughts and get my head together so that then I can blog more and come up with more ideas for you!
So, I would basically like to talk to you all about mental health, because there have been lots of different things happen since I took my break and I think that it is important that we talk about the things that we do to relax and I am going to list a few things below that I use to help me relax and cope with different things.
Things to Help Me Relax
- Avoid going on my phone the last thing at night before I go to sleep, I normally read for up to an hour before I go to bed
- Meditate before bed
- Reflect more on the positive things that have happened during the day rather than the negatives, however difficult that might be sometimes
It has been proven that avoiding going on your phone for at least an hour or more before you go to bed can help you get more sleep at night because of the white light that your phone uses, also avoiding going on your phone can help your brain to relax because the last thing that you saw before you went to bed was that awful social media post that plays on your mind subconsciously while you sleep.
Also, I have started keeping a record of the day that I add to every night before I go to sleep, I do this because even if something bad has happened during the day, I write about it in the book and then turn the page on it so it helps me look towards the positive more and less upon the negative side of things.
