What being a blogger means to me!

Hi all,

Throughout all of my time blogging, it occurred to me that I have never done a post explaining what blogging means to me and what inspired me to start blogging in the first place.

First things first, growing up in a small town (village) as I do, it means that there are very few young people, whom you can actually talk to without getting insulted quite a lot. So this has lead to me having mostly friends older than me, which means I can’t always voice my opinion around them, which don’t get me wrong, isn’t always a bad thing. I just needed a platform where I can voice my opinions and listen to other peoples opinions, without receiving too much stick for it.

Then I have always been into technology and social networking (check out my twitter page) because, social networks got me chatting to different people, then I started to wonder what it would be like to have my own site to put my own creative slant on the whole social networking trend. This I figured would also enable me to explore the creative side to me, which I don’t get to show very often, being an Open University student in computer science.

Also, I have this urge to help people as much as I can and as I am sure that you are aware by now, I do post some content on here which some people may find informative, because they might be going through the same thing. So if I get a message from someone saying that my post has helped them in some way, then that is why I blog.

With that, further to my previous comment, if you feel that you have got a problem with something that you are going through. Please feel free to message me on any of my social channels and I will do my best to try and help.
