Buffy The Vampire Slayer…

Hey all,

Hope you’re all ok? I just thought I would do a new series on here, called Turning Back Time. This is where I will review one of the older TV series or movies, this is largely because during the lockdown, I have been looking for more things to watch and specifically different series to binge-watch. Therefore, this week I will be reviewing Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which I still consider to be one of the greatest American TV shows that I have seen!

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to any of you now that I like Vampire Series and things like that, that are shown on TV and in movies as well. When I first got introduced to Buffy The Vampire Slayer, I was on holiday with Mum up in North Yorkshire and the books of Buffy were being sold in an antique Bookshop. So I bought all of the books as they were fairly cheap and very good to read! Then I decided that I wanted to watch the TV series, so I bought the first season on DVD and I was hooked.

That was as much as I’d ever seen, that is until lockdown and thanks to Channel 4 OD over here in the UK decided to put all of the episodes on their website to watch, which is an amazing idea.
This series is mainly for the older people, like adults of 18+ I would say because of the overall content, but this is an amazing series because it’s not only Vampire’s that Buffy has to face, she has Witches, Demons and sometimes even aliens to face as well to try and eradicate them from Sunnydale, which is the town Buffy lives in with her mum. Buffy rapidly learns that the town is sat right on top of a Hell Mouth which is why the town is full of Vampires and Demons.

This Turning Back Time series is going to run on a fortnightly basis so that people get to see what TV series there are to watch on TV at the moment. So that’s all for this week folks! Please let me know down in the comments if you are watching Buffy at the moment.

Much Love

Jem xx
