This week, I’m going to be reviewing a book that I have recently read called The Flat Share. The Flat Share is written by Beth O’Leary The Times Bestselling author, before writing The Flat Share, Beth wrote some books for younger readers as well. Now she specialises in writing feel-good books.
The Flat Share opens with two people, who are struggling, one is still living with her Ex-Boyfriend, the other is a financially struggling nurse.
Will they end up saving each other and becoming something more?
Follow the twists and turns, as Tiffy and Leon try to navigate their way through their individual lives as they live in the same flat and sleep in the same bed, but never actually see each other. The reader gets to follow the main characters, through their adventures that they have together. The Flat Share, also depicts the struggles of everyday life in a way that makes the book seem more feel good, as though the plot in the book is made to guide the reader through, to show them that no matter how dark problems may seem, there is always light.
The reasons above and below this paragraph explain why, I am giving this book a rating of 4 stars, because of the extremely unpredictable plot at times, including all of the twists and turns that this requires.
This is one of the best Romantic Comedy books that I have ever read, there were times when I literally couldn’t stop laughing, at the words on the page. This is one of the only books that I have been unable to put down from start to finish, from the descriptions and the way that the characters are easily believed to be real. Beth had it all in this amazing book!
Again as usual please do let me know if you read, or have previously read this book, as I would like to know what some of you thought about it too!
I will see you next week, also please check out the ‘More Content’ tab for everything else that I am up to just lately.
