Miracle Workers Series Review

Hey all!

I hope you’re all good throughout these strange times, please remember that my inbox is always open should any of you need someone to talk to.

However, as we all know things are a little doom and gloom right now, so allow me to help cheer each and everyone of you up by saying that I’ve finally watched Miracle Workers TV Series, ok a couple of years late but hey, I’ve only just renewed Now TV.

So, the basics of the first series of Miracle Workers are, that the whole show is set in Heaven (bare with me here) and there are actual angels working for god, as when people die they go up to Heaven and all these ‘Angels’ are working in different departments aiming to help the people that are on Planet Earth. The main department that the first series focuses on is the department of answered prayers where Craig (Daniel Radcliffe) has worked solitary for years only answering the most mundane of prayers on God’s behalf, thats at least until Eliza (Geraldine Viswanathan) comes in to assist. Suddenly it’s not all about finding gloves and keys for people, but saving the Earth instead.

Then the second series is set in Medieval Times and the same people live in the same village only this time Daniel Radcliffe plays Prince Chauncley, who is very clumsy and saves people from instant death at the Kings hand. Things are definitely a lot stranger in this series, but funnier because of the different characters and the different roles that they have now taken on, apart from that you get an insight into Medieval Times and parts of what it used to be like for people who were around way back when.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

All in all, I loved this very weird show, there were some cringe-worthy moments as well as some really enjoyable laugh out loud moments too! Which in my opinion is so weird when it comes to comedy movies and TV series now. So if you do get a chance to see this weird but yet somehow wonderful series, please do! I’m sure you won’t regret it, as always please leave a comment below to let me know what you thought of it.

Lots of Love

Jem xx
